A happy cocker spaniel dog, likely a spaniel, lying on a stone steps in a park with green trees in the background.

“I found Holly through the Tilly project when our husky was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I can't thank her enough for the amazing memories she provided. He has passed away a couple of weeks later, but we have photos we can cherish forever. I can't wait to turn them in to wall art.

Holly and her partner Ethan were so patient with Miller, especially given his high anxiety levels and the fact that he couldn't stand still due to issues with his back legs. despite that we got the most amazing pictures of our beloved Miller.

I would recommend them to anyone wanting photos of their pets. I also recommend anyone who has a dog with not long to live to get an end of life photoshoot if they can. and no matter how you think you will look on photos get family pictures.”

FAQs

  • Your dog’s safety will always come first, and is of the utmost importance to Holly. During your dog photography portrait session, Holly will never insist that your dog is off-lead in any context, and most of the dogs in her images actually had leads on during their shoots! With a little bit of post-production magic, you’ll never know a lead was there.

  • As we live in the UK, it’s pretty common for the weather to be unpredictable. Holly always tries to encourage you to continue with a shoot even if it’s raining, as there are some fantastic atmospheric images to capture in these sorts of conditions. Holly does however check the weather forecast every night before a shoot, and if it’s looking like a complete washout then you can absolutely reschedule.

  • If your dog doesn’t sit still, please don’t worry. Holly has plenty of tips and tricks to ensure she gets the perfect shot of your dog, and this does usually include making some ridiculous noises! This is another reason why Holly allows up to 2 hours for her dog photography sessions - plenty of time for your dog to relax and do their thing.

  • Absolutely! During your pre-session appointment, Holly will discuss location preferences with you. If you have a preference for the location of your dog photography session, please let her know!

  • Of course! Your dog photography session is completely tailored to suit your needs. During your pre-session discussion or on the day of your shoot, let Holly know that you would like to be in the images and she will make it happen!
